Wood carpet surfacing (also known as wood rug or engineered wood fiber or playground mulch) is a ground wood product similar in texture to shredded bark mulch. But this product is made out of the woody part of the tree (not bark), so it is light in color. When compressed, wood fiber produces a surface that is considered wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. Our wood carpet is certified and meets ASTM standards.
